Investigation of the Heteroatom Doping Effect on Gasification Fine Slag Residue Carbon Oxygen Reduction Reaction Catalysts

Coal gasification fine slag (GFS) is a kind of solid waste that produced from industrial entrained‐flow plants. Using the GFS flotation residue as carbon source for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) catalyst therefore an effective recycling method will gain great attention. Herein, after used precursor to prepare ORR catalysts through CO 2 activation. Combined with characterization Raman spectroscopy, X‐ray photoelectron and scanning electron microscopy, influence N, P, Fe, Ca, other doped elements on physical chemical structure explored. The results demonstrate calcium chloride causes decrease reactive nitrogen, has negative effect development pore structure. active nitrogen content ammonium phosphate lower than source. codoping ferrocene produces mutual inhibitory effect, resulting in doping levels phosphorus iron. This study significance activation heteroatom treatment prepared carbon.
